Welcome to

FGRS Community Hub

We are Fishpool, Goshen, Redvales & Springs  Community Hub.

FGRS Community Hub was formed in March 2022 from the idea of helping the community from the Redvales ward out of the impact of Covid.

Our aim is to provide accessible, confidential and diverse support to our local community.

We want to combat social isolation, food poverty and to improve mental wellbeing, by ensuring our local community has a safe space to access support and help.

How It Works?

People help people

FGRS Community Hub is run completely by volunteers.

We survive on donations, fundraising and grants that are made available to community groups.

FGRS is growing quickly and now has many aspects to it. We work closely with partners to ensure that the needs of the community are being.

The future plans for FGRS are to continue to grow as a natural part of the community providing services and a safe space.

We aim to become a registered charity.

TESTIMONIALS

From Our Community

“I am a single mum with 4 boys all in high school. Over £600 in school uniform before bags and shoes. I was embarrassed to ask but the ladies were so lovely and welcoming. They helped me so much. I got uniform for my boys for a donation. Absolutely life saving! Took away my sleepless nights. Thank you so much. “

“I don’t know how I would have done it without your support. Thank you ladies for not judging me and being so supportive”

"Amazing community event with a true community spirit. The kids loved playing football with the professionals and a free bouncy castle is always a hit. Well done ladies!"

“I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw this and made contact. The uniform I got was a mixture of new and used, but in great condition. I was sent into the room with a bag to get what I needed. No judgement, the volunteers were so helpful and lovely. Thank you so much.
